What is the difference between a Pre-Occupancy and Post-Occupancy Review?
A Pre-Occupancy Review (POR) validates that a facility meets applicable detention standards before it activates or takes custody of a population. A Post-Occupancy Review evaluates the facility during active operations. CCS conducts both.
What is a Quality Assessment Review?
A Quality Assessment Review (QAR) is a structured evaluation of a facility’s ongoing compliance and quality of operations against the applicable standards. It helps agencies and operators confirm performance between formal audits.
