What is SAAPI and how is it different from PREA?
SAAPI (Sexual Assault Awareness, Prevention and Intervention) is the ICE detention standard addressing sexual abuse and assault. It mirrors the DOJ’s PREA standards but applies to immigration detention. CCS supports compliance under both.
